Life is funny.
If you are wondering if you too can make some extra cash with your Cricut Maker, the answer is YES!

WHAT THINGS CAN YOU MAKE WITH A CRICUT?
You can make 100’s of things with a Cricut Maker. The possibilities are endless. If you are willing to put the work into learning new things, a Cricut Maker is a great investment for any crafter or maker!
When I got a Cricut Explore Air 2 years ago, I literally had no idea what you could make with it! I knew you could cut cardstock for scrapbooking and card making. I saw people cutting vinyl but I had no idea what else the machine could do.
A few years later, I upgraded to a Cricut Maker on Amazon Prime Day. I saved my money, waited for a sale, and upgraded. I love this machine.
I love learning how to make new things on my Cricut Maker.
Here are just a few things you can make on a Cricut:
Cut paper pendants or invitations for a party
Scrapbooking die cuts
Iron-on vinyl for t-shirts or crew necks
Paper tags for Christmas or Birthdays
Stencils
Vinyl quotes for coffee mugs
Greeting Cards
Decals and labels for household items
Stickers
and SO MUCH MORE!!!

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH A CRICUT EXPLORE AIR?
One thing you need to know before you get started, there is a difference between the Cricut Explore Air 2 and the Cricut Maker. If you have the money, go for the Maker. Simply put, it can do more things!
One of the biggest differences between the Maker and the Explore Air 2 is the blades. I wrote about the difference between both machines HERE.
I wrote all about Cricut Blades HERE. Be sure to do your homework.
That being said, you can make money with a Cricut Explore Air. A Cricut Explore Air can cut vinyl, cardstock, faux leather, and thinner leather.
You could sell finished iron-on t-shirts with quotes. You could sell cut vinyl for decals, labels for home items, or labels for essential oil bottles.
Speaking of vinyl, you could also make custom onesies, canvas tote bags, and customize vinyl water bottles!!
You could also sell stickers that you made with your Explore Air. Cricut Design Space allows you to upload or create customs stickers.
You can use the PRINT AND CUT feature to print your stickers on sticker paper and then your Explore Air will cut those sticks for you! (P.S. you can do everything above with a Cricut Maker too!)
CAN I USE CRICUT DESIGNS TO SELL?
I am not an intellectual property lawyer so I am not giving you legal advice.
However, Cricut does have a Cricut Angel Policy. I would recommend you read this policy carefully.
I will warn you, it is a lot of information so make sure you read it all.
Do not try to sell individual images within Cricut Design Space. Be careful with Disney, Marvel, etc. You cannot use licensed images from Cricut Design Space.
Again, this is outlined in the Angel Policy.
Beware of any Etsy shops selling licensed images.
You can purchase images from sellers on Etsy. Pay attention to if the image is for personal use versus commercial use. Read the terms of use and be sure to follow them.
My best advice? Create your own designs! There is so much information on Google and Youtube. You can learn so many great things!

IS CRICUT ACCESS WORTH IT?
Yes and no.
When I first bought my machine, I had a subscription to Cricut Access. I loved it and I think it really helped me learn my machine without spending a ton of money on files.
If you are going to use it regularly, it is a great value.
However, I am a big believer in paying for things you actually use so if you don’t plan on using them regularly, it may not be worth it.
My best advice, try it for a month or two. Evaluate how much you use it. Cricut Access may be a great value for some crafters and not so much for others.
The only way to know if it is right for you is trial and error.
Cricut Design Space is full of fonts and images! The options are endless. Some fonts and images are free to use without Cricut Access. Others you can pay by the use OR they are included with a Cricut Access membership.

WHAT CAN I MAKE WITH A CRICUT TO SELL?
You can make so many things with your Cricut to sell. One thing I would caution you on: pick one niche and go with it!
Niches are helpful for SEO and marketing. It is easier to find your customers if you have a specific niche.
For example, if you are into vinyl t-shirt designs, then create a store and sell t-shirts. I would not recommend a store with t-shirts, earrings, water bottles, and stickers in the very beginning.
When you are just getting started, it can be confusing to potential customers when you sell products in many different niches. Find a niche and stick with it!
Pay attention to smaller niches. For example, when you buy a pair of earrings from Etsy. They may come attached to an earring card, within a clear plastic bag, stuck together with a cute sticker.
Did you notice how many different businesses were used to send that one pair of earrings? You could be the business owner who makes the earring cards with your Cricut for jewelry sellers. Or you could be the business owner who creates packaging stickers for other Etsy sellers.
Pay attention and be creative. There are so many ways to build a business with your Cricut.
Don’t forget blogging. Cricut bloggers do make money! It is a different business model and takes time to grow but is definitely a great way to make money with your machine!
Here are some ideas to get your creativity flowing:
You can make money with both a Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore Air 2. Look around on Etsy or Pinterest to get some inspiration. Youtube is also a fantastic resource if you get stuck using your machine!
Best of Luck!
