Making leather earrings on your Cricut is so easy to do. I am obsessed with the new leather Cricut is creating!
It is so much fun to work with.
The sky is the limit on how many different things you can make with this leather. As of now, they have about 8 different colors. Everything from different shades of brown to gold and silver.
The great news is, you can make these earrings too! If you have a Cricut machine and a blade, these earrings are relatively cheap to make. They make a statement to any outfit.
Earrings make great gifts for holidays or birthdays! The best part is, these earrings are quick to make.
It’s a no-brainer!

If you would rather design your own earrings, here is how I did it!
Open a new project in Cricut design space.
In the search box, type “ circle with cut out”.
The images below will appear. You can do so many things with any of these images. You could create hundreds of different earrings!
I was immediately drawn to the middle circle on the top.
Click the design you want and click “insert image”. It is the green button in the bottom left side of your screen.
When using Cricut leather, be sure to follow all the instructions on the package. Cricut gives great tips and tricks online. So be sure to watch their videos if you are unsure!
Cricut recommends you push those white circles on your machine all the way to the right when working with leather. It should look like this.
Place your leather on your strong grip mat face down. Load your mat onto your machine. Before you cut, be sure to move the dial on your machine to “CUSTOM” and choose the correct type of leather in design space.
Cut your leather!
HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR LEATHER CIRCLE CUT OUT EARRINGS
Assembling these earrings is simple. Here is what I use:
Leather punch ( I love this thing!)
Ruler
Pencil
You can place your hook anywhere on these earrings. I really do think you could make this shape into many different styles of earrings. Play with it and see what you can come up with.
I used my ruler to find the middle of the earring. I gently marked the middle with a pencil. Using my leather punch, I made a hole in the middle of the earring.
You can use a jump ring before you place hooks in your earrings. OR you can simply place your hooks straight into the hole you punched. It is up to you!
A jump ring will make your earrings longer. It is really a matter of personal style. In the example above, I use a jump ring and a hook.
Congrats!! You did it. How cute are those earrings?
Now go make yourself a pair in black, silver, and rose gold!!
