Good Reads: May Edition

I got some great reading in this month. In my virtual book club, we read Mrs. Pettigrew Lives for a Day. In all honestly, I expected this book to be a challenge to read. I wasn't really excited about it, but OH MY WORD! Once I started reading, I could barely put it down. Mrs. Pettigrew was written in the late 30's. It is a story about a women who's entire life changes in one day. It is a great (and quick!) read!
I also tore through Crazy Love and Simplify Your Life. I am still chewing on Chan's chapter of lukewarm Christians. It is fascinating. I had to read it twice. Have you read Crazy Love yet? I am excited to read more of his books!
I love Elaine St. James and all her books. They are easy to read and super challenging. I didn't love Simplify Your Life as much as her first book I read. However, her work is great. I am motivated to think like her. How can we get rid of unnecessary things in our life? What do we truly need? Isn't life really better with less things?
What are you reading?
