February Reads: Money Saving Mom's Budget and the Element

This month I read along with Jessica in her virtual book club. This month's pick? Money Saving Mom's Budget.

I have been I long time reader and student of Cyrstal's blog. In fact, I knew nothig of couponing before her. I love her outlook on life and "can-do" spirit. Honestly, I expected this book to be somewhat boring to me. Afterall, I read her blog everyday. Instead, I found her book to be great. I couldn't put it down. I found myself inspiried once again to keep up my committment to be frugal. I had taken a much needed break from couponing and Crstyal's book was just what I needed to get back in the game.

Crystal's simple lifestyle  is inspiring. She points out in her book that clutter can often times lead to stressful finacial situations. I couldn't agree more! We owe it to ourselves (and our families) to rid our homes of clutter.

The other book I picked up this month was The Element. I found this book fascinating. Ken Robinson describes that element as,

the place where the things you love to do and the things you are good at come together.

He talks about how to find your element, intelligence, the difference between imagination and creativity, and  a ton of inspiring stories!
