I don't know about you, but I often find myself in a food rut. Eating the same thing day in and day out. I find that when I want to clean up my diet, I often don't know WHAT to eat.
Without a clear plan, I always fall back on old unhealthy habits.
Aldi is a great place to cut back on your food bill, but their selection is limited. I do think you can feed your family (and YOU) nutritious meals from Aldi. It just takes some creativity!
Luckily for you, we've done all the work for you. We compiled 30 clean breakfast ideas for you and your family. We have whole grain meals, egg meals, oatmeal based meals, and more!
Pick two or three to try this week. Rotate them throughout the week.
Next week, try a few more!

BREAD
BAGEL WITH NUT BUTTER.
Top one small whole wheat bagel with 1 Tablespoon of peanut butter and serve with fruit.
WHOLE WHEAT WAFFLE.
Toast one whole wheat waffle. Top it with 1 Tablespoon of peanut butter and 1/2 banana sliced.
BAGEL AND EGG.
Toast one whole wheat bagel toasted. Top with one poached egg and 1/2 of sliced avocado
Need I say more? Use Simply Nature 7 Grain Sprouted bread for this.
SPROUTED BREAD WITH CHIA SEEDS.
One slice of sprouted bread, topped with almond butter, sliced banana, and chia seeds.
EGGS
EGGS AND TOAST. Cook 2 eggs in a non-stick pan. Serve with toasted Simply Nature 7 Grain Sprouted bread and a piece of fruit.
SCRAMBLE. Scramble with 2 eggs with 1 cup of fresh spinach or other veggies of your choice.
BREAKFAST BURRITO. Fill one whole wheat tortilla with 1 egg scrambled with 1/2 of a red bell pepper. Top with 2 tablespoons of salsa. Wrap up and eat!
HARD BOILED EGGS WITH ORANGES.
Hard boil 2 eggs. We use our Instant Pot to hard boil eggs. Serve two hard-boiled eggs with one orange.
QUICHE CUPS.

EGG IN A HOLE.
Take one piece of Simple Nature Sprouted bread.
Using a biscuit cutter, cut out the center of the bread.
Heat butter or oil in a non-stick pan. Place bread in the pan, crack one egg into the hole of your bread.
Once egg whites are set, flip bread over and cook until brown.
HARD BOILED EGGS AND 1/2 GRAPEFRUIT.
CEREALS

Coconut and Chia Granola with milk or Greek yogurt

OATMEAL
INSTANT OATMEAL PACKETS.
Simply Nature Instant oatmeal packet cooked and topped with blueberries (fresh or frozen).
OLD FASHIONED OATS.
Combine 1/2 cup oats, 1 banana sliced, 1/2 cup almond milk and 2 tablespoons of nut butter. Cook in microwave according to package directions.
Baked Oatmeal via Cooking Light.
Pumpkin muffins (sugar-free. grain free)
Banana Bread Muffins (sugar-free. grain free)
SMOOTHIES
CHOCOLATE PROTEIN SHAKE.
Combine 1 cup of almond milk, Aldi Chocolate Protein Powder, 1/2 banana, and a handful of ice in a blender. Blend and serve.
A green smoothie using frozen mixed fruit and spinach.
