Good Reads

I have been a reading machine this summer. I'd like to say it is because I am awesome and have a lot of free time, but that would be untrue.

I just spent 3 weeks in a very remote location with SLOW internet and no tv. I went back to the 80's and read a book (or 7). It was so good (....and yet so good to be home with my Netflix).

My Favorite? Jen Hatmaker's 7. Laugh out loud funny and super convicting (....in a good way).

Make me want to travel abroad again? Three Cups of Tea. I love learning about other cultures. It is super faciniating to me.

Have a child with Sensory Processing Disorder? Sensational Kids and Out of Sync Child are good reads. They are written for the parent in mind. It is easy to follow and understand.

Have a craving for fiction? Pick up What Alice Forgot. I couldn't put it down. I don't read a ton of fiction books, but this was really good!

In other news? I read a marriage book. I didn't follow the Husband Project. I just read it and took it all in. If you are looking for a way to jump start your attitude about marriage, I recommend this book.

What are you reading?
